In short

wpbuildora uses only technical cookies, needed to log you in and remember the language you chose. We don't use profiling, advertising or third-party analytics cookies. That's why we don't ask for consent and you don't see a banner: for technical cookies the law (art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian data protection authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021, in line with the ePrivacy Directive) only requires us to inform you, as we do here.

The cookies we use

  • authjs.session-token: keeps you logged in. It lasts up to 30 days, or until you log out.
  • authjs.csrf-token: protects the login forms from fake requests made by other sites. It lasts for the browser session.
  • authjs.callback-url: remembers which page to reopen after logging in. It lasts for the browser session.
  • NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you chose. It lasts 1 year.

On secure (HTTPS) connections the names of the first three may be prefixed with __Secure- or __Host-: they're the same cookies, with extra protection.

Data stored in your browser

Some preferences stay only in your browser, without being sent to us:

  • light or dark theme, the width and open sections of the sidebar;
  • notices you've already closed;
  • the ongoing conversation with the support chat, so you don't lose it when changing page.

Other people's pages

When you pay, Stripe's secure page opens, which uses its own cookies to make the payment work and prevent fraud, under its own policy. The same applies to providers' pages when you connect an app. They aren't our cookies and we don't control them.

How to manage them

You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. If you block technical cookies you won't be able to log in to the platform, and your language won't stay saved in that browser.

What about the sites you build?

The WordPress sites you create with the builder are yours: you decide their cookies and their policy. Our plugin and theme don't set cookies for your site's visitors. But if your pages use maps, videos or forms from other services, those services may use their own cookies: in that case your site may need a consent banner.
